CVE-2023-39214Network attack vector

Service interruption via undisclosed information exposure

Published Aug 8, 2023 · Updated Sep 27, 2024

Sensitive information exposure in Zoom clients and SDKs before 5.15.5 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via network access. Zoom has not published which client component exposes information, what data crosses the trust boundary, or how the exposed data triggers denial of service. Exploitation requires an authenticated user with network access; the published record establishes service interruption but does not distinguish a hang from a crash.
