Administrative access via universal hard-coded password
Published Dec 7, 2023 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Hard-coded credentials in SENEC Storage Box V1, V2, and V3 before November 2023 allow remote attackers to gain administrative access. The management interface accepts a hard-coded installation account and a password shared across all affected devices. Network reachability of that interface is the only stated gate; successful authentication grants administrative privileges.
