Stored script execution via student-list username
Published Aug 21, 2023 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Stored XSS in ZeroWdd studentmanager 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via the student-list username parameter. The application stores a modified username and later renders it in the student list without neutralizing executable markup. An attacker must log in and change the username; execution occurs when another user opens the affected list, exposing that browser session to attacker-controlled actions.
