Buffer overflow in service.XM in Xiongmai NVR firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt affected devices with a crafted request. Public records do not identify the request field, handler, or unchecked copy operation that overruns the destination buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required; network access to service.XM is sufficient, and the documented consequence is service interruption without reported data access or modification.
