CVE-2023-38990Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated menu deletion via insufficient authorization

Published Aug 1, 2023 · Updated Oct 17, 2024

Authorization bypass in JeeSite 1.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to delete administrator-created menus through the web interface. The delete method in com.thinkgem.jeesite.modules.sys.web.MenuController processes menu deletion from an ordinary-user session without restricting the operation to administrators. A valid low-privilege account is required, and exploitation alters menu configuration without reported data disclosure or service interruption.
