Stored script execution via unencoded book titles
Published Aug 28, 2023 · Updated Oct 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Uatech Badaso 2.9.7 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. The new-book and edit-book handlers store an unencoded title, and borrowing add/edit views render its HTML so an injected onerror handler executes. Exploitation requires dashboard access and a user to open an affected borrowing view, granting the script access available to that user's browser session.
