CVE-2023-38944Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated router takeover via omitted Host header

Published Mar 5, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Access-control bypass in Multilaser RE160V 12.03.01.09_pt and RE163V 12.03.01.10_pt allows remote attackers to control routers. The web management interface skips session-token enforcement when an HTTP request omits the Host header, exposing protected CGI endpoints. No credentials are required; affected endpoints disclose configuration secrets and permit management changes, including DNS and routing alterations.
