Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked sprintf
Published Aug 7, 2023 · Updated Oct 11, 2024
Stack overflow in Tenda F1202 and FH1202 1.2.0.9 and PA202 and PW201A 1.1.2.5 allows remote attackers to execute code. The /L7Im handler passes the attacker-controlled page parameter to sprintf without a length check, overflowing the acStack_10c stack buffer. The embedded HTTP service is reachable over the network without authentication, and crafted requests can instead crash the device.
