Unauthenticated code execution via formSetVirtualSer stack overflow
Published Aug 7, 2023 · Updated Oct 17, 2024
Stack overflow in Tenda AC10, AC1206, AC8, AC6, AC7, AC5 and AC9 firmware allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted list parameters. The formSetVirtualSer function processes the list parameter without preventing a stack out-of-bounds write, allowing control-flow corruption. The affected management service is network reachable without authentication according to the CVSS vector; exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity and availability of the router.
