Message replay in TP-Link Tapo L530, L510E, L630, P100, and app 2.8.14 allows remote attackers to repeat captured device commands. The app and devices accept duplicate encrypted messages without checking their timestamps or uniqueness while the session key remains valid for up to 24 hours. Exploitation requires direct access to local Wi-Fi traffic and a captured user-generated message; replayed set commands can alter device state without the associated Tapo account.
