Arbitrary SQL execution via login username injection
Published Aug 18, 2023 · Updated Dec 8, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Online Shopping Portal 3.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through the login form. The login handler fails to neutralize SQL syntax in the submitted username value, so crafted input changes the database query logic. The demonstrated time-based path requires an application account; another referenced exploit bypasses administrator login and uploads a PHP command shell.
