Authenticated code execution via unchecked API uploads
Published Sep 20, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Dolibarr ERP CRM 17.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code through its REST API. The REST API document-upload path omits the executable-extension checks and .noexe renaming normally applied before a file is written. Both DMS/ECM and REST API must be enabled, and the account must have document-submission permission; uploaded server-side code can expose data or run commands under the web service account.
