Unauthorized actions via cross-origin UI framing
Published Sep 28, 2023 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
Clickjacking in gugoan Economizzer 0.9-beta1 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause unintended actions via a framed interface. Economizzer's web responses fail to restrict cross-origin framing, allowing an attacker-controlled overlay to redirect a victim's clicks. Exploitation requires a victim to visit an attacker-controlled page and interact with the disguised interface, resulting in unauthorized modification without reported confidentiality or availability impact.
