Authenticated database read and write via searchdata injection
Published Jul 25, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in CampCodes Beauty Salon Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database records. The /admin/search-appointment.php endpoint incorporates the unvalidated searchdata value into an SQL query, so attacker-controlled SQL syntax changes the database operation. Access to the administrative search interface is required, and exploitation can disclose or alter records or interrupt database-backed functions.
