Authenticated code execution via unvalidated system call
Published Sep 11, 2023 · Updated May 5, 2025
Command injection in ManageEngine ADManager Plus builds 7188 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute host commands. The installServiceWithCredentials function passes an inadequately validated user-supplied string to a system call. Administrative privileges are required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary code in the context of the service account.
