Service interruption via unenforced per-read timeouts
Published Aug 14, 2023 · Updated Oct 9, 2024
Denial of service in IBM TXSeries for Multiplatforms 8.1, 8.2, and 9.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt Web Services. The Web Services listener improperly enforces its timeout on individual read operations, allowing slowly delivered requests to keep connections active. Network access is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and the bounded consequence is service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
