Improper input validation in IBM Db2 11.5.8 allows local users with special privileges to interrupt service during DPF deactivation. IBM has not disclosed which DPF deactivation input is improperly validated or how processing it causes the denial of service. Exploitation requires local access, a DPF deployment, and authority to deactivate the database; the reported consequence is availability loss only.
