Out-of-bounds write in Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2201 before V2201.0008 and V2302 before V2302.0002 allows attackers to execute code. The SPP parser insufficiently validates user-supplied data, allowing a write before the start of an allocated data structure. Exploitation requires a user to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, after which code runs in the context of the Plant Simulation process.
