Memory disclosure or crash via unchecked negative axes

Heap buffer overflow in paddle.trace in PaddlePaddle before 2.5.0 allows attackers to read memory or crash a process via invalid axes. TraceInferMeta normalizes negative axis1 and axis2 values but checks only their upper bounds, allowing excessively negative results to index outside the dimension array. Reachability requires an application to pass attacker-controlled axis arguments to paddle.trace; triggering the overflow can disclose process memory, crash the process, or corrupt memory.
