CVE-2023-38625Network attack vector

Information disclosure via unvalidated modDeepSecurity URI access

Published Jan 23, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025

Server-side request forgery in Trend Micro Apex Central 2019 before build 6481 allows remote authenticated users to access internal services. The modDeepSecurity module accesses resources from a supplied URI without properly validating the destination, enabling requests to internal or local services. Exploitation requires authentication and the ability to execute low-privileged code on the server; returned service data can be disclosed in the service-account context.
