CVE-2023-38624Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated internal service access via unvalidated URI

Published Jan 23, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025

Server-side request forgery in Trend Micro Apex Central 2019 before 8.0.0.6481 allows remote authenticated users to access internal services. The modTMSL module accesses resources named by a URI without properly validating that URI, enabling requests to attacker-chosen destinations. A low-privilege account and the ability to execute low-privileged code on the server are required; successful exploitation can disclose data available to the service account.
