Buffer overflows in NETGEAR DG834Gv5 1.6.01.34 allow remote authenticated users to execute commands via crafted SSID parameters. The bsw_ssid.cgi handler stores unvalidated wla_ssid and wla_temp_ssid values, and blk_getssid copies an oversized value without a length check. Access to the router's authenticated management interface is required; a long SSID can inject commands or permanently interrupt service.
