CVE-2023-38569Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser script execution via uploaded HTML

Published Sep 5, 2023 · Updated Sep 30, 2024

Stored XSS in SHIRASAGI Project SHIRASAGI before 1.18.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in another user's browser via uploaded HTML. Upload features in bulletin boards, ToDo, workflows, and other modules store attacker-supplied HTML that the web server returns without forcing download. Exploitation requires authenticated upload access and a victim to load the stored file, after which script executes in that victim's browser session.
