CVE-2023-38549Network attack vector

Administrator access-token theft via cross-site scripting

Published Nov 7, 2023 · Updated Sep 4, 2024

Cross-site scripting in Veeam ONE 11, 11a, and 12 allows remote authenticated users to steal an Administrator access token. Veeam identifies only the Web Client and XSS path; it has not disclosed the affected page, parameter, or failed output-encoding operation. Exploitation requires a Power User role and interaction by a Veeam ONE Administrator, after which the stolen token grants Administrator access.
