Code execution via out-of-bounds X_T structure read
Published Aug 8, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Siemens Parasolid and Teamcenter Visualization allows attackers to execute code through a crafted X_T file. The X_T parser reads past the end of an allocated structure while processing the file, but Siemens has not disclosed the affected routine or field. Exploitation requires a user to open the file and can execute code or interrupt the application in the context of the current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
