Unauthorized project access via unchecked API-key scopes
Published Jul 27, 2023 · Updated Oct 3, 2024
Missing authorization in Tolgee Platform 3.14.0 through 3.23.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify project data. The V2ImportController accepted API-key requests on import endpoints without calling SecurityService to enforce the key's TRANSLATIONS_VIEW scope. Exploitation requires a project API key that is exposed or available to a project user; affected endpoints disclose or alter import data outside the key's assigned scopes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
