CVE-2023-38508Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated metadata disclosure via unchecked artifact lookup

Published Aug 24, 2023 · Updated Oct 2, 2024

Improper authorization in Enalean Tuleap affected editions allows remote authenticated users to read restricted linked-artifact metadata. The artifact-link type-table preview calls getArtifactById instead of a user-scoped lookup, so it renders linked artifacts without project, tracker, or artifact authorization. An account able to edit another artifact and select a typed link can expose only the linked title, status, assignee, and last-update date.
