CVE-2023-3850Network attack vector

Authenticated database manipulation via injected category identifier

Published Jul 23, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

SQL injection in Lost and Found Information System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through category deletion. The /classes/Master.php delete_category handler incorporates the POST id value into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL syntax. The delete function sits in the credential-gated management site; successful injection can change the intended database operation and compromise stored records.
