Local service interruption via missing permission check
Published Sep 4, 2023 · Updated Oct 10, 2024
Missing authorization in the VoWiFi service on affected UNISOC Android chipsets allows local users to interrupt cellular calling service. On SC7731E, SC9832E, SC9863A, T606, T610, T612, T616, and T618 devices running Android 9 through Android 11, vowifiservice accepts a local operation without the required permission check; UNISOC has not identified the request, function, or failure mode. No additional execution privileges or user interaction are required; the documented consequence is limited to local service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
