Reflected XSS via unsanitized URL path
Published Jul 23, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in mooSocial mooDating 1.2 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser via a crafted URL. The /matchmakings/question URL handler reflects an encoded path segment into an HTML response without neutralizing injected markup or event-handler code. Exploitation requires a victim to follow the attacker-controlled link, after which the script runs in the site's browser context and can read or alter data available to that session.
