Session script execution via improper query handling
Published Aug 2, 2023 · Updated Sep 27, 2024
Cross-site scripting in the F5 BIG-IP Configuration utility allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in a logged-in user's session. An undisclosed Configuration utility page improperly handles attacker-controlled query-string input during page generation; F5 has not identified the page. Exploitation requires authenticated access and user interaction, and the resulting script can read or modify data available to that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
