Adjacent service interruption via improper input validation
Published May 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper input validation in Intel PROSet/Wireless Wi-Fi Software before 23.20 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via adjacent access. Intel has not disclosed the affected component, accepted input, or validation operation that mishandles that input. Exploitation requires proximity to the wireless interface, no authentication or user interaction, and causes limited service interruption without reported data disclosure or modification.
