Published Jul 17, 2023 · Updated Oct 30, 2024

Unrestricted file upload in Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager before 8.0.0.410 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The XPRTLD web application accepts and stores files of any type without restricting dangerous executable content, after which the uploaded file can be executed on the server. Administrator access to XPRTLD is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied commands on the remote server.
