Session-context script execution via daily report parameter
Published Jul 23, 2023 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Jahastech NxFilter 4.3.2.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via the daily report user parameter. The /report,daily.jsp endpoint fails to neutralize the user argument when generating page content, allowing browser-executable input into the response. A low-privileged user must induce another user to open the crafted request, enabling page-context actions or data access in that user's session.
