Stored script execution via unneutralized basket filters
Published Jul 15, 2023 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
Stored XSS in the PNP4Nagios 0.6.26 AJAX controller allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through basket filters. The basket API stores filter values, and the controller later places them into generated web content without neutralizing executable markup. A victim must load the affected content; the script then runs in that user's browser origin, enabling limited data access or actions within the session.
