CVE-2023-38344Network attack vector

Authenticated file disclosure via unrestricted SOAP path

Published Sep 21, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024

Path traversal in Ivanti Endpoint Manager before 2022 SU4 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files through SOAP requests. The GetFileContents action at /landesk/managementsuite/core/core.secure/OsdScript.asmx accepts user-supplied paths without sufficient restriction. Valid application credentials are required, and successful exploitation can disclose the core server's agent-authentication private key.
