Unauthenticated file disclosure via external entity resolution
Published Sep 21, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
XML external entity injection in Ivanti Endpoint Manager CSEP before 2022 SU4 allows remote attackers to read files or trigger SSRF. The CSEP XML parser enables external entity references and resolves attacker-controlled entities instead of rejecting them. No authentication or user interaction is required, but Ivanti identifies this CVE as a duplicate of two separately tracked Endpoint Manager flaws.
