Locked-class modification via bypassed protection checks
Published Jul 20, 2023 · Updated Oct 24, 2024
Access-control bypass in Omnis Studio 10.22.00 allows attackers to view and modify previously locked classes in Omnis libraries. A published proof of concept patches protection checks in the running Studio process, enabling its browser to load private libraries and expose locked classes. The required access and privileges are undisclosed; successful exploitation also permits deletion, copying, renaming, duplication, or printing of protected class content.
