Device serial disclosure via readable system property

Information disclosure in seven affected Android phone models allows local users to read the device serial number through a system property. A high-privilege process copies the non-resettable serial number into vendor.gsm.serial, which any local app can query with getprop despite Android 10 identifier restrictions. A malicious app needs no permissions or special privileges; the established consequence is identifier disclosure, not remote access or service interruption.
