Authenticated SQL injection via resumeid query parameter
Published Jul 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in the IBOS 4.5.5 Interview Handler allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through resumeid. The resume edit status route incorporates the resumeid request value into an SQL operation without neutralizing SQL control characters. A valid application session and Interview Handler access are required; successful injection exposes or changes database records reachable by the application account.
