Sensitive-memory disclosure via PDF buffer over-read
Published Aug 10, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader allows remote attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted PDF file. The PDF parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated buffer. A victim must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the disclosure can expose sensitive memory or aid an ASLR bypass.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
