Memory disclosure via embedded-font bounds check failure
Published Aug 10, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader 23.003.20244 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose memory through an embedded font. The embedded-font parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading beyond the end of an allocated object. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious file; Acrobat Reader 2020 20.005.30467 and earlier is also affected.
