Code execution via embedded-font out-of-bounds write
Published Aug 10, 2023 · Updated May 28, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Acrobat Reader allows remote attackers to execute code as the current user through a malicious file. The embedded-font parser fails to validate supplied font data before writing past the end of an allocated object. Opening the file is required; affected releases include Continuous 23.003.20244 and earlier and Classic 2020 20.005.30467 and earlier on Windows and macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
