Script execution via unencoded link-editable text
Published Jul 21, 2023 · Updated Oct 16, 2024
Reflected XSS in Pimcore before 10.6.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through crafted link-editable text. The link-editable renderer returns its text value as HTML when no path, anchor, or parameters are present, instead of applying HTML encoding. Administrative content-editing access is required to supply the value, and execution occurs when the affected editable is rendered in the administrative browser.
