Sensitive-information exposure via externally accessible files

Published Jul 22, 2023 · Updated Oct 24, 2024

Information disclosure in Datalust Seq before 2023.2.9489 allows remote authenticated users to expose sensitive data via external metadata storage. Datalust has not published the code-level flaw that inserts sensitive information into an externally accessible file or directory. Exposure requires the opt-in SQL Server or PostgreSQL metadata store and high-level infrastructure access, and the documented impact is limited to confidentiality.
