Reflected XSS via unencoded caller parameter
Published Oct 21, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Reflected XSS in SuperWebMailer 9.00.0.01710 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through a crafted GET request. The keepalive.php script inserts the caller GET parameter into HTML without sufficient encoding or filtering, causing submitted markup to execute. Exploitation requires user interaction with the crafted request and can expose browser-accessible data or alter content in that user's session.
