Remote code execution in Inductive Automation Ignition before 8.1.26 allows remote authenticated users to run code as SYSTEM. The OPC UA Quick Client task-scheduling path exposes a dangerous function when the Gateway connects to an untrusted OPC UA server; public advisories do not identify the function. Exploitation requires Gateway configuration privileges and control of the OPC UA server, and the resulting code runs as SYSTEM.
