Code execution via WRL parser out-of-bounds write
Published Sep 12, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Siemens JT2Go, Teamcenter Visualization, and Tecnomatix Plant Simulation allows remote attackers to execute code. The WRL parser insufficiently validates file-supplied data before writing past the end of an allocated structure. Exploitation requires a user to visit a malicious page or open a crafted WRL file, and resulting code runs in the current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
