Password disclosure via unmasked agent logging
Published Jul 12, 2023 · Updated Oct 22, 2024
Information disclosure in JetBrains TeamCity before 2023.05.1 allows remote authenticated users to expose password parameters in agent logs. The build-parameter logging path writes values marked with the password type into the agent log instead of masking them; JetBrains has not disclosed the responsible function. A user needs low-privileged network access, and the resulting exposure is limited to secrets present in affected build output.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
