Password disclosure via agent log parameter writes
Published Jul 12, 2023 · Updated Oct 22, 2024
Sensitive information exposure in JetBrains TeamCity before 2023.05.1 allows remote authenticated users to read password parameters from agent logs. Build-chain parameter handling writes values marked as the password type into the agent log instead of keeping those sensitive values out of log output. A low-privileged network account and access to an affected build chain are required; the consequence is disclosure of password values recorded in its logs.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
